Why did he say he'll think about it.?

(My little sister (16) wants to know) I like this guy...he's 17...I asked him out...here asking out is like steady....anyway..he said he'll think about it. I saw him the next day and he said yes. Why did he say he'll think about it??

I think he just didn't want to say YES, right away! He's like playing hard to get a little bit...very understandable..he just wants to make you sweat a bit....lol. Of course he likes you!! If he didn't, he would have said something like, "I don't want to ruin our friendship." or something like that! Don't take it to hard..at least you had the guts to do the asking!!

Becaue he wasn't sure at the moment, and didn't want to say something that he didn't mean. That was actually pretty smart if you ask me. I mean there is nothing wrong with thinking things through rather than making rash, premature decisions in life

he wasn't sure. He needed time to think it over. ask him. but trust him. don't go overboard and be like, "OH! He's not even sure he likes me!" don't worry about it, for the sake of your new relationship.
wellll doesn't sound like it's off to an awesome start if he needed to think about it, but don't jump to conclusion and don't worry about things that happened before the relationship even started! Concentrate on the relationship, see how things go these next few weeks.
most guys dont know wat they really want in life... which doesnt suprise women at all... but he may have been thinking about the type of relationship that he wanted to pursue along with you... so he said yes.. which is great!.. when he could of said no.. so look on the positive outcomes of what you got. hope your relationship turns out great.
